M.L.C.A. History – 1983-84
A special skills file, as part of the membership application is started and range officer classes are made mandatory.
We begin our successful club lottery.
The floor is tiled in the range house and the lead is mined on the skeet and trap fields.
Our fish and game committee raises and releases 25 pheasants in the Proud Lake Recreation Area and our first club pheasant hunt is started (no connection).
Three nature trails are built on the state property under our use permit and we have a club ring made.
We begin our Salmon Fishing trips and our big buck contest.
Senate Bill 750 is passed with the help of many local and state officials to make it possible for us to acquire the park property.
