M.L.C.A. History – 1979
The Board of Directors meeting held on the fourth Wednesday of the month is moved to the second Wednesday to facilitate a more current report of the minutes.
A class “C” liquor license is considered so the public can be served. It is rejected by the membership.
The 50’s Dance is begun and is a success and the outside toilet facilities is built for summer use.
1-275 becomes an issue with M.U.C.C. on opposing sides which requires a board meeting be held at M.U.C.C. headquarters in Lansing to arrive at a compromise. All board members attended.
Club dues are raised again.
