M.L.C.A. History – 1970
Lee Hill was elected president for 1970.
After much debate the fireplace is built in the bar room where the main entrance was and the new entrance is moved to the east end of the clubhouse.
The bar room is paneled in wood and the mug awards program for 60 hours worked a year is established.
Manager guidelines are established and George Mayne is hired as club manager.
Memorial plaque is placed on the fireplace and our club signs are placed at Commerce and Oakley Park Roads.
The “new 1-275 highway” proposal makes its debut at Multi- Lakes.
