M.L.C.A. History – 1964
In 1964, the Club continued its good work by making donations to the Penrickton Nursery for Handicapped Children, and annual donation to the local Goodfellows and sponsoring a group of four boys to the MUCC Boys Camp at Hamlin Lake.
The board had the club property re-evaluated for insurance coverage, established a separate fund for the new building addition, and offered retirees memberships at one half price when the member reaches his 60th year.
Committees functioned as usual with the staging of the Christmas party and Kids Picnic, ox roast and wild game dinners.
From a revamped big-bore committee came news of putting the range in first class shape with regard to safety for a busy season.
