M.L.C.A. History – 1962-63

Under Everett Ramsey’s guidance, bylaw changes were made, including – attending 6 meetings or active on a committee, one new member application per member.
Attendance drawing at monthly meeting is begun at $5.00 a month and an Ox Roast Event is started in late summer, the forerunner to our present Good Old Days.
A new septic field is installed and our first Skeet and Trap Building, 14’ x 16’ is donated to the club.
The Club sponsored a Don Cooper and Wally Tabor Show.
A Friday night fish, chicken and shrimp dinner is tried for eight weeks and we complete our barbecue and the garage addition is completed.
The speaker system on the grounds is installed and the Rifle Range is temporarily closed by police order until Range Officers are posted to direct shooting.
