Junior Rifle
Multi-Lakes provides a great opportunity for youngsters, 12 to 18, who would like to shoot in a safe setting.
This is a NRA sanctioned program, which allows each shooter to progress at his/her own pace.
Special target rifles, ammunition, NRA targets, and instruction are on hand to give them a chance, in a safe range environment, to earn patches and medals as they progress to the level of Distinguished Expert.
An early shooting opportunity can offer shooting skills and advantages with larger caliber firearms later in life.
Plus, if the youngster wishes, they may participate in some of the many NRA sanctioned competitions in the state.
- September thru May, we meet every Monday (Except Holidays)
- 7:00pm to 9:00pm – in Range House #1
- Cost is $4.00 per session, which includes ammunition, targets, and expert instruction.
- New shooter orientation is on the second Monday of the month (parent attends as well)
Multi-Lakes is proud to present the Distinguished Expert award to Maggie Michniewiez. Sixteen year old, Maggie has been shooting with us for over three years. She started shooting in our Junior Pellet Rifle program and follows in the footsteps of her older siblings, James and Emma who were also excellent precision rifle shooters. Besides being an expert marksman, she is helpful, courteous, and fun to be with. Maggie is shown here with her father Mark, and the Junior Rifle staff.
And close on Maggie’s heels is sixteen year old Hudson Bradley. Hudson has been shooting with us for about sixteen months. He is shown above with his father Scott, and the Junior Rifle staff.
